The prebuilt apps utilize the native components of the operating system to allow un restricted and swift access to the device’s functionalities. Native architecture of these apps are at the core of an unparalleled user experience of these mobile apps. The end users will never have a moment of lag following their user action. A seamless integration to the device hardware like camera, accelerometer and even third party devices like a bluetooth scanner allows the apps within the app suite to provide an impeccable user experience.

The App suite hosts multiple apps, each of them catering to individual business processes. Having individual apps for business provides the necessary flexibility to add/modify apps in the suite without impacting other apps in the suite. The Mobile App Suite still provides a homogenous user experience across these apps. 1. Logon: The Logon is integrated across the apps. If the user logs into any one app he is automatically logged in to all other apps. The user session is shared across all the apps in the app suite.
2. Data Sharing: The integrated apps framework allows sharing of data between apps. This means, data need not be duplicated across apps and an update in one app is available in other apps without the information having to make a round trip to IFS systems.
3. Seamless Navigation: The Apps within the app suite can be invoked from one another. While tracking a sales order, you can open the part tracker to search for a part’s availability or its price in a particular region.

The App suite features native push notifications. Unlike the notifications available in other similar apps, it does not depend on the app being in the foreground or even running. The notifications are delivered irrespective of the state of the app. There are two different kinds of notifications available on the app suite.

• Business Data Notification: These notifications originate from IFS systems when an event of interest occurs there. This could be assignment of a new approval request, status change of a Sales Order, Change of availability status of a part etc. A notification originating from the IFS means that the end users always have the latest information on their devices.
• Administrative notifications: Admin notifications are not necessarily triggered out of IFS and can be triggered from the Silverline Console. These are typically notifications about an outage, about a new app being launched, about certain compliance requirements that can be relayed to individual field users or a group of them.

The App suite is completely customizable from rebranding its apps with your company logo to changing the look and feel, the customization is simple and straightforward. While a lot of these customizations can be done from the Silverline Management Console, changes to the underlying data model and business processes can also be done in a simple and hassle-free manner owing to the modular design of the app suite.

The App Suite also equips the customers to manage the apps and user-base. The Silverline console is a single access point that empowers the customer's IT/Administrative team to manage users, apps, devices as well as to monitor and troubleshoot. Using the Silverline console, a customer can:

• Provision: Provision users and apps in the enterprise. Add a new user, manage apps, associate a user to an app and deploy upgrades.
• Monitor: Customers can monitor user app usage in the field. It provides critical insight to user behaviour and experience. The customers can monitor user and Session Details, Live and historical device transactions and Debug a specific user by setting the log level real-time and retrieve the device logs.
• Manage: Further app level management and notification broadcasting can be achieved by being able to Broadcast PUSH notifications and also Manage app configurations & parameters.

The App Suite has an enterprise grade security both on the device and in transit. Based on an Asymmetric encryption algorithm the data store on the device is encrypted. Similarly the transactions to and from the device are encrypted ensuring an end to end data security.
